Jared Bourne

Jared is a Partner in the Mississauga office of MNP LLP, providing assurance and advisory services with specialization in audit and review engagements. Jared works with a wide variety of businesses to interpret and implement financial reporting requirements while helping them overcome operational challenges, minimize risk and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth. Jared is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University’s Honours Bachelor of Business Administration program.

Starting his career with an international accounting firm in London Ontario, Jared also lived, worked and volunteered in the Cayman Islands, the United States and Kelowna BC before returning to Ontario in 2012. Jared and his wife Kelly have two young sons Grayson and Cooper. As a strong supporter of mentoring and the work of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel, Jared joined the Board in 2013 to help contribute to their continued growth and positive impact on our community.

Angel Massey-Singh

Angel Massey-Singh is the Vice President of Making Waves Swim School offering learn-to-swim and water safety programs, headquartered in Brampton. She has spent the last 2 decades specializing in brand and digital marketing and holds an HBA degree in Psychology from York University. Angel was introduced to Big Brothers Big Sisters in 1998 through volunteering as a Big Sister. She also spent some time serving as an employee and participating in various committees, as well as being a long-time board member. As a result, she understands first-hand the positive affect that mentoring has on Peel’s children and youth and is personally invested in the organization’s success. Angel’s hometown is Mississauga, but she currently resides in Brampton with her husband and two children.

Adam Schure

Adam is the Vice President, Finance at GN Johnston Equipment Co. Ltd, Canada’s largest sales and service provider of material handling equipment. Adam is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, and prior to working at Johnston Equipment was a Manager in the Assurance department at PwC. Adam has been actively involved in a variety of non-profit organizations in his working career, most recently as a member of the Finance Committee for The Mustard Seed, and Chairman of the Board for STAR of Hamilton. Adam and his wife Kim have one daughter, and he has joined the Board of Directors at BBBS Peel to provide his experience with strategic and fiscal planning to the organization.

Michael Marcotte 

Michael is President & CEO of GN Johnston Equipment Co. Ltd, which is a provider of material handling equipment and related services to more than 30,000 customers across Canada, and a member of the Toyota family of enterprises. Michael sits on the Board of Directors of Johnston, and oversees more than 1200 employees in twenty-three locations therein. He has been held senior executive positions for the past 25 years within a cross section of Canadian companies, both publicly and privately held. An MBA graduate from McGill University, Michael is a past Chairperson of the Board, and his organization has been an avid supporter of BBBS for more than 25 years.

Thompson Famoriyo

Thompson Famoriyo is a Career and Special Education Teacher with the Peel District School Board. In the last 26 years, he has taught at both the elementary and secondary school levels, and served as Assistant Administrator at both the Summer and Night School. He has a passion for caring and guiding students towards developing enviable characters and lifelong careers, an experience that earned him the 2013 Toronto Star Honour Roll Teacher Award. Thompson holds a Master Degree in Education from the University of Toronto and undergraduate Bachelor of Science. In 2015, Thompson received the Award of Teaching Excellence from the Peel District School Board for his distinguished contribution to student success.

A former soccer professional player, Thompson enjoys working out in the gym, coaching sports and also volunteers as a Resource Person with the Children Aid Society of Toronto. He currently lives in Brampton with his wife and two children.

Director
Radcliffe Rose

Rad Rose is an Inspector with the Peel Regional Police where he is currently assigned as the Staff Officer to the Deputy Chief of Field Operations. Rad has worked in variety of capacities, including uniform patrol, criminal investigations and administrative positions since commencing employment in 1990. Over the past 15 years, he has held progressively responsible supervisory or management positions in the organization.

Rad is a lifelong learner and passionate about education, personal and community development and mentorship. Rad has an undergraduate degree from York University and a Master’s degree in Public Policy, Administration & Law from York. As a resident of Peel, Rad has been very active in the community, always seizing the opportunity to engage youth to strengthen the community and improve their opportunities for success as young adults. Along with his participation in the many charitable causes supported by Peel Regional Police, Rad served as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel Big Bunch Program, and commenced serving on the Board of Directors in 2013.

Emmanuel Koudoumnakis

Manny is a VP and Market Manager with TD Private Wealth Management where he currently leads a team of Private Bankers and Private Trust professionals. He has over 25 years’ experience in the banking industry holding various positions throughout his career. Manny and his team work with families that have complex needs such as Investment Planning, Will and Estate Planning, Private Banking, Succession Planning and Legacy Planning. Manny has a Certified Financial Planner Designation and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.

As a resident of Peel, he looks forward to giving back to his community. As a supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel, Manny was excited join the Board in early 2017.

Angie Rehal

Angie Rehal is a Paralegal with the Federal Department of Justice working in the Immigration Law Division since graduating from Humber College with a Law Clerk Diploma. Angie grew up in Brampton and has been residing in Mississauga since 1991. She is active in community work and has volunteered with Peel Board, Canadian Cancer Society, ONE Walk, Sikh International Film Festival and various peel schools as part of the Parent Council and many other agencies. Angie currently sits on the Board of Directors of Seva Foodbank and also participates in many other community initiatives. In her spare time, she runs a small business (Angie’s Golden Ghee) creating flavored organic ghee. Angie is the proud mom of two adult sons. Any free time is dedicated to yoga/fitness, reading, movies and long walks.

Parm Bhattal

Parm currently serves as the Director responsible for training with a large department in the public sector that works to ensure community safety. Parm holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a Bachelor’s in Education, a Master’s in Education and a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in Sociology. He also holds Management and Leadership Certificates from the Schulich School of Business at York University and the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Parm is passionate about being involved in his local community and lives in Brampton with his wife and children.
