Big Brothers Big Sisters is proud to be celebrating 50 years of mentoring in Peel Region! As a part of our 50th Anniversary year, a branch of our campaign revolves around video and reaching out to influential Mentors from our agency. We managed to get in contact with Ron Lehman, the second Big Brother ever at Big Brothers of Brampton from 1968, long before we evolved into a regional agency paired with Big Sisters. He was happy to have us over for a day at his house talking about his experience with Little Brother, Jim. His story is heart warming and heart breaking simultaneously. We are so glad we we’re able to connect with Ron, have him speak at our AGM, and thank him for being a community leader.
